The Next Leap

Where in the world is Carmen San Diego? Who knows, but Monej Cruz is on the go! A new adventure awaits across the pond on a sub-continent lily pad. I’m ready to take the next leap…Afghanistan here I come!
2 years ago I acted on a decision fueled by the butterflies in my stomach, courage in my heart, and energy in my dreams…I moved to Los Angeles to become the most lovable female entertainer of all time…hehehe =) Overall an optimistic, I packed my car with the belongings that could fit and trusted in the universe that everything would fall into place. Indeed a few things fell, but mostly in place, and it wasn’t too long after setting foot in SoCal that I had a new turf that felt like home. Most of you know my flight path thus far (for the most part ascending in my career and life) and are curious as to why I would take steps in another direction and what the heck I could possibly be up to in this unique detour. Summed into the shortest description I can formulate, here’s the scoop: An opportunity to live abroad, experience other cultures and lifestyles, and make more money than I ever have my whole life combined presented itself with the best timing. Hollywood isn’t going anywhere, and I’ll be back. What will I be doing? I have been invited and hired on to work with a private logistics company that will be working with the US Military in Kabul. Capish? Orale!
